this place needs snow
i have never skied conditions like this! i was up at the top and they either need 3 feet of snow or close the mountain asap! there is no way that they can make it till april 4th. they say 66 inch base its more like 6 inches of pure ice or 2 inches of slush
haha to the people asking about conflicting snow reports it's really simple. Look at the ski report and the part that says "no new snow in last 7" days should tell you something. Every description on this page says icy in the morning, and slushy in afternoon. Which basically tells you crappy spring conditions on a mountain that doesn't have any snow. I don't think they've had new snow in the last 2 weeks now that I think of it.
will be in JH in 9 days! Please let it SNOW!
beautiful spring skiing, lots of sunshine and soft snow. morning is a little crusty till it softens though upper reaches are better.
in dire need of snow. back country is good but most of the mountain is hard thick slush... next year should be better..
just got done w my first day...little crusty in the early am but softened up great...cody bowl and rock springs def worth the hike
can anyone tell me how the conditions are right now. I am seeing mixed reviews.
