March 20th - Ruthie
Super-sweet. Powder everywhere. And it started snowing again this morning pretty heavy at the base, so you know the mountain is getting dumped on.

They've gotten 40+ inches in the last 5 days, 2 to 3 foot powder stashes in all the trees, untracked stuff on open bowls on my last run of the day today, lots more freshies comin, amazing things, great mountain, viz a little tough while dumping snow - to be expected

Definitely layers (to remove as the day warms us) and waterproof. When it snowed while we were there, it was wet, not dry like Colorado. Spring is usually warmer anyway.

what ski clothing to you recommend for JH skiing? I have only skied Vail and Aspen. Thank you.

I was in Jackson Hole Feb 23 to March 1. Lots of snow the first two days. I know they got a lot last weekend as we were leaving. Growing up skiing in Colorado, there were a lot more cloudy/foggy days in WY than CO. We had two days we couldn't see much. Really recommend Grand Targhee if you have a chance to go there. Less people and good runs. For a rest day, the National Elk Refuge was cool.
