amen to the terrain park post! I'm 35 and even i would appreciate a nice park. thats the only reason i go to snowshoe instead of winterplace!
dear winterplace, commit to a better terrain park...please!!!! i will buy season passes and even spend 8 buckd on your cheeseburgers. u do a great job with everything else, but you'd attract a much larger, younger crowd from all over if youd use the 'cascades' and turn it into even a medium ability park.
its almost gone...base is only about 20 inches,...slusht
conditions were great over the weekend but lift lines were long due to them being understaffed. Also, ski patrol was non existent and there were bad skiiers all over that should have had their lift tickets clipped.
We had a very nice time at scout day. beautiful place. Slopes are in perfect shape.
just got home, didnt wait, very long slick slopes, long lift lines, bur still great!!!!
we came up today for scout day and it is beauriful but very very busy
goin up to winter place today ptobably going to be my last time up. i tjink winterplace has great slopes and pow but the terrian park needs inprovement. by cameron ewing
just finished a full day of skiing. Snow conditions were unbelievably good!! some long lift lines around lunch time, but overall it was a fantastic day on 3/6/10
Just got home from Winterplace and had terrific day of conditions and absolutely no lift lines. I love the fact that Winterplace is right off of the interstate but there runs are so short! I have skied Winterplace, Canaan, Timberline and Snowshoe in 2010! Snowshoe has all of them beat with longer runs, better lodging, better food and faster lifts. Snowshoe is #1 in West Virginia!

you guys should really go 2 snowshoe in stead its 2 hours longer but 20x the conditions and slopes

Wow, the lines were sooo long!!! We were standing in the line for almost 2 hours!!! Othere than that, skiing was great!! All the slopes were open and they were all clear!!! After a while my feet started to hurt from the ski boots, and it was really sunny, so I got a sunburn!! 2/21/10 was great!!!
