Conditions were awesome this week! I've been at Snowshoe all week and it snowed almost every day - I think like 15 inches since Monday. The number of trails open is impressive and way better than the rest of the mountains in WV, VA and NC. I love Snowshoe and highy reccommend going! Midweek is obviously less crowded than weekends. ps- Feb and March are the best times to visit - and summer rocks!

12-30-07 Crowded, mushy conditions. Very skiable in the morning, bare spots and some mushy ice by afternoon. Very foggy. Frozen ice pellets fell for a while. Long lines at times, and with so few slopes open they got very crowded at times.
