Ya, the roads up here are harsh. A large building collapsed in thomas so traffic is being redirected, but the national guard should get the roads cleared quickly
tried to get there yesterday and after fighting all the snow and drifting to get to davis the road was closed from then on so after an hour of driving we had to turn around when we were about 5 minutes away!!! im sure the conditions were amazing! but the roads getting there were terrible...
Conditions all year have been phenomonal also meet a young skier Vince from Elkins may be the best skier i have ever seen. He is a poster boy for the resort.

Feb 18. Snow was great, but almost all trails were groomed. Visibility was miserable.
Tons of snow and powder. Conditions are better than the last time I was in Colorado. Pye is shreding it up and looking for the Fredster. Roads are pretty good - snow plows are out in force.
Conditions were PHENOMONAL at Canaan yesterday... bottomless, soft, light powder everywhere!!!
Days like this prove there is a ski god, and he is pleased with West Virginia. This storm is dropping loads of powder.
