Holey Moley. The 20" reported on this site is RIGHT ON. I mean by end of today, it was mashed potatoes but stashes here and there ran soft and pillowy and oh so ridable all day long --- i'm talkin ridin on top of poof poof moguls, man. I rode all weekend long and it was incredible. BUT COLD TODAY! Man I found a sick hidden stash off upper Castlerock run ... in the woods ... lucky!

skiing at its best, powder no ice. All lifts every slope in fantastic conditions groomers are all sweet, fantastic carving. Bump runs all over the mountain including Castlerock are in the best shape ever.

Sunday another day of epic skiing in light powder. It snowed all day and it still is snowing at 8:30 tonite ,so I am looking forward to another day of powder conditions. Because of heavy winds on top we could only ski the lower lifts but every run was open .

EPIC first tracks, light champagne powder / no wind/ skied all the bump trails at Mt Ellen. Powder flying

Mt.Ellen opened today all lifts all trails. Lots of lose light powder all bump and groomed trails are fantastic. Expect even more snow overnite.

Wed. we skied in 6inches of new fairly light powder today it was packed powder . Groomers are all skiing great, most natural snow trails are also in good shape.

Plenty of snow mixed in with a little rain if you waited until 11 o.clock the skiers broke up the slab and the skiing was very good all over the mountain. The old Valley House lift saved the day as ice caused the modern Sugar Bravo lift to be down most of the day.

Awesome day Tuesday had some snow overnite and it changed everything . Great bump skiing all over the mountain including every run on Castlerock . It was so good I went right back to Castlerock after lunch and finished with good skiing .

Groomers are the only way to go most runs are fast and firm. The most fun has really been Upper Snoball & Spring Fling they have been making tons of snow and most of it is small bump skiing. There is some talk of snow in the next few days WE NEED IT

Plenty of snowmaking and grooming and sun made Tuesday a good new england ski day. The surface was edgeable and fast .I stayed off the bump trails but enjoyed the groomers.
