hit Stratton 6th and 7th of december. sick conditions, every bit as january days. snow bowl area was extremely good until late afternoon sunday when it got completely wind blown (as usual), kidderbrook was closed but that side of the mtn had some really good conditions as well. my buddies who stayed behind another day due to the great conditions said that monday was even better. nooo lines!

Skied stratton thursday thru saturday on Thanksgiving weekend. Roughly 1/3 of the mountain open and surprisingly good conditions for this time of year. Saturday the lines got real long (20-25 minutes at the gondola) as there are only 4 lifts open and many runs started scraping down to scratchy ice base. Overall we were very pleasantly surprised. Woo-Hoo-let the season begin!
