Monday through Wednesday brought perfect Spring conditions to Stowe. Sun, light winds and BBQ in the parking lot. Even the locals are shedding layers and shredding the hill.

great spring skiing on monday. goat open through liftline but not at the top. starr open too but very thin.
conditions a bit crusty in the morning, but when it softens in the afternoon it is actually pretty fun
saturday was more great spring riding. not sure about sun/mon due to the forecasted rain. heading there again tomorrow (wed).
How was stowe Saturday? thinking of going sunday or monday - anyone know the condtions?
great day, # of trails closed is actually 4. Included w/ the 3 they mention on line is goat. Starr doesn't have much time becos of thin cover. Otherwise great spring skiing.

this is an amazing resort. too bad its so expensive. $84!!! conditions were decent. get your end of the year skiing in cuz theres already some bare spots popping up.
Mt Mansfield is in great condition. Despite the warm weather the base is holding up. Good skiing everywhere and getting a tan too.
i have to rank yesterday as my all-round best day at stowe for th year. the base is set up nicely to take it through the spring. sun drenched from 7:30 am through the day setting up some forgiving bumps on Starr and Chin Clip. perfect glade boarding (and skiing) all day. now if i could just see a way up the Chin

Sunny and springlike today. Sunscreen needed. North slopes running hard and fast. A bit of slush on south faces. Quad was backed up in the am (no suprise). Tracked crud and zipper crust in the trees. Some fresh snow a somewhat cooler temps would be welcome.
i was there friday. it was decwntly crowded but not rediculous. the runs were super fast, and the snow was fairly soft, parks seemed a bit slow though.

Skied Stowe on Sunday the 28th. Trees were fantastic. Top half of the mountain was soft powder in the woods. Awesome day. Can never go wrong with this place.
