First time there with family. PROS: Quaint area, easy unload & loading of equipment from car. Trails nicely covered with snow (Sunday 7th). Nice lodge. CONS: Only rope tow for learners area. After 3 times with son, ripped a muscle or two in arm. Son is 4 and could not get to top of learners area by himself on tow. Need a better lift / carpet for little ones. Had to carry son up hill a few times but with warm temps, too hot. Overall I would go back but not with entire family.
Was there the whole weekend and conditions were perfect! Spring lile weather, even got a sunburn! Everything was groomed except the west side but it didnt even need it, cant say enough great things about this mountain :)
Skied sat. and sun. amazing conditions, felt like spring...even got a sunburn! Entire mountain was open almost all trails groomed. The west side was unreal, no need for a groomer! Hit up the lodge bar for apres ski, it never dissapoints :)
was there saturday and enjoyed some amazing conditions along with great bumps on the west side (along with the cold beer out on the deck)
I was also there Sun, 1 lift open & long lines... Open the black chair!!!

went sunday. great skiing, great snow and no lines. I'm an advanced skier n plenty of challenging runs! great place 2 ski!
Hit Magic twice earlier this year and again yestrday. Pow-Pow in the woods! Wow! what a day. What a mountain! Magic is............well....magical

the lift was slow and some trails werent groomed, but it was worth it to not wait in lines and no crowd.
first, but now I can't wait to go back.
The point of Magic is to leave some terrain natural and ungroomed. The hard, steep terrain makes you appreciate the slower lift. I hate ugh speed quads personally.

Terrain is fun, but like every mountain they need snow.
