Don't know where everyone gets this info from. To clarify: boarders totally allowed. Day passes are 65$ tops and they offer great discounts (student I'd, vt residet) the skiing is top notch is some of the best tree/ bakcountry skiing in new England. That coupled with the lack of crowds and new yorkers ( see Stratton) makes this my #1 east coast ski area every year. If you are looking for a great terrian park try else where but Jay is a mountian for purists.
