Sunday was amazing!! Lower mtn a bit warm, but there are still great runs to be found! hit the trees...
im leaving today from the canyons after 3 amazing days. the pow was sick after the snow on saturday. love the canyons!!
there are bare spots on 50% of the slopes. plenty of pow on 9990
canyons awesome yesterday. lines not long and blue runs not crowded at all. sunday is going to be insane since its been snowing for over 12 hours straight now and not expected to stop til afternoon
anyone been heli-skiing / boarding wuth Powderbird out of The Canyons?
None of the resorts out west seem to have 'crowds'. I'm used to boarding in the east where you have to wait 5-10 minutes for a lift. Out here it's MAYBE a 2 minute wait on a busy weekend day.
the crowds are very light
Looking for that 17", have not found it yet! packed powder on the heavy side. cloudy.
Incredible skiing on friday!! Tons of fresh powder, especially off of peak 5 and 9990
we had a great time there. lots of untouched pow in the trees. the pines was an awesome run (off saddleback lift)!
Good cover up 9,990 in the woods; still rocks/thin cover on the steep trails, getting better though.
great powder. making you work fo it. Snow has finally stopped and sun is out.
some runs did have thin cover, but it wasnt that frequent. it is snowing here now and has been since 2pm local time at different intensities. should have at least 5-6 inches of new powder for friday.
awesome! snowing right now...
It hasn't been the best year for snow in Utah but it's snowing right now!
can anyone give me an accurate report on what conditons are like at The Canyons? I'm hearing there isn't a lot of snow. whats up?
great times, but warmth lead to several runs getting skied-off icy or slushy. even saw a lot of dirt on 1 run.
snow over the last four days was great! view from Murdock
perfect day here today. small crowds. warm. stunning.
