Snowbasin First Hand Ski Reports

no new snow but not too slushy
its sweet. will ne skiing for three more weeks
today was great! the snow was wet and heavy like siera cement, but hey its march, right?!? great mountain, awesome runs. 
lots of new pow at basin today total whiteout earlier today gonna be good tomorrow
saw a guy in a santa hat, imagine... santa hat in March. whats OK about that? Thats not ok. bad year for sniw my friends. maybe Al Gire was right.....just kidding. He is a moron!
I'd like to STRONGLY urge everybody to stick to the groomed runs. Everywhere else is full of giant cliffs, dangerous trees and unpredictable scary snow. Think of the children!
hahahahahha. pow mow is like nordic valley, or wolf mountain- its fun when your first learning- but anybody who knows how to ski, and likes the steep technical terrain, the high speed quads and gondolas, go's to basin. You can keep your flat, beginer terrain and ghetto rope tows all to yourself.
it was definitely for the dew tour...
powder mt is way better than basin unless you ski for the pretty bathrooms, the snow at pow mow is always amazing! but stay at basin so i have it all to myself
Great resort to ride for amazing views, long runs, and great snow especially on powder days. Side note; best hot chocolate and bathrooms than any other resort.
snowed lightly most of day. Not much powder unless you do a bit of hiking. fun mtn.
so so day today. Mount Ogden chutes decent
Great suggestion on the trees. How are they if you ride around them instead of into them, have you tried that approach? Powder Mountain? Are you barking mad? That place is full of trees, and we now know that they are dangerous.
The Dew Tour? Serious? Didn't hear a thing about it. You are clearly mistaken, they would have advertised it.
Stay away from the trees, it's too dangerous!
ya you should go to powder mountain instead, i hear its nice.
Those things were built for the dew tour. If you have trouble getting down the bunnyhill, maybe you shouldn't be on the runs above it?
Snowbasin used to be a great resort. It is now becoming a lame circus side show with the poorly placed parks & pipe ruining otherwise great runs and choking off traffic at the base area. If you are not an expert skier/rider you are screwed trying to get back to the base. Would have been nice if anyone in management would have taken about three minutes to consider the flow of traffic, or better yet, realistic target demographics before dumping a pant-load of cash into this moronic venture. Snowbasin has its niche and this is not it. It's like your dad trying to be cool.
just got off the mountain. excellent conditions today - the snow at the top of the John Paul run was amazing. visibility a bit challenging at times but fine below the top third of the mountain.
Ive been to keystone and a-basin this year, neither had good snow. It's just a horrible year for co. I've had way more fun at basin this year
