don't eat the brown snow.
by about noon it was getting gross. stayed till 4:00 and had a great day regardless.
The snow was tolerably slushy in the morning but by high-noon it was like you were boarding through puddles on & off the lifts. Most of which were open & the music bumping definitely livened the atmosphere. Not at all crowded & according to one staff member, the resort will close on the 21st.
By mid moringing it was too slushy for me. Was better in the shade. Nice place good people.
really slushy today maybe one more week if enough people will go
boooooo this place is already spring time..... stay away unless we get another cold freeze.... dirt patches already showing through
Ski Liberty has better snow. Liberty closes march 21 according to a ski instructor. for best snow, got to wisp, seven springs and resorts near those two 35+ freah snow!
I was there today from 9am until 1pm.. Everything is great if you only want to ski/board until about 10:30 maybe 11am.... the sun came out, melted everything... must have been 6"-8" of slush... RIDICULOUSLY DANGEROUS -- I live 20mins from there so it was worht the trip... if you coming from an hour or more away i would say my $40 for 4 hour ticket and stay home...... 2 of the lift operators said next week could be there last week - temp's in the 40's & 50's everyday
How close are we to end of season? Haven't been in a couple weeks to check the conditions...
Updated Outlook {3/3-3/9}: Finish up your snowboarding or skiing soon, or find somewhere else to go! The warmer weather is on its way. In spite of a WED snowfall, there was almost no snow accumulation to speak of. What remains is a slushy and watery mix. THU and FRI temps will be around 40. SAT temps jump to 45, and early forecasts for SUN, MON, TUE are almost 50 degrees. In summation, I’d like to quote another post: “me go to whitetail today it very warm. me wear t shirt and ride the 'crud.'” See you next season ~ NVGPS
no - its not worth driving to from Toronto -- all the snow has melted.... If your coming this way go to Camelback or Seven Springs (FRESH SNOW & ALOT OF IT)
Sunday was really bad. It seemed like none of the trails were groomed other than the greens. It was bumps and ice, and long lift lines Gross!!
is this worth driving too? from toronto? did this area still have good snow from the storm?
the half pipe was horrible and there was alot of slush
me go to whitetail today it very warm. me wear t shirt and ride the 'crud.' it very choppy but me no see lots people. me postie this to help you. me very tired from today.
sunday-snow was heavy and slushy. even at 9:30am, slopes seemed ungroomed and chopped up. still good snow base even though some rocks popped up on top of limelight. long lines on front side. bumps on exhibition still small.
Good skiing last night, after much of the crowd left and temps went down. The highspeed quad was back up too.
incredibly slushy, not much fun.
3 of 8 lifts broke down within a matter of two nights.
