Great place to go, however not many trail varieties to beginers. The beginner trails are few and get boring quickly. This being said I would recommend going to ski liberty for beginners for their variety of begginer trails. As for me I'm between beginner and intermediate so whitetail is good for me. If you are a beginner, the worst place to start is ski roundtop. Round top's beginner hill, the trail that isn't the practice area but the hill for it, was almost as steep as an intermediate hill at whitetail. Also liberty has a great variety of slopes and has a flatter terrain park which some perfer over steep hills into terrain parks. I prefer whitetail just because I know that one the best but it is really personal preferance.

Went here 3 times this season just always great "in a small type of way" great snow the first time I went not so the other times

Just a thing to keep in mind, when ski report says 7 of 9 trail are open that means all the ski lifts are open. I guess the other two are tubing and something else.

Whitetail had great ski conditions this year. Their new trill, Sidewinder, is great for people learning to ski. I recommend this resort to anyone who lives near the area who wants to learn to ski or experts who want to have fun. I hope that next year is just as good. So long Whitetail, until next year.

Was there Mar 14 slushy most parts, snow melting in some parts already. Angel Drop had exposed stones and soil. Season is over.
