Yea killington is the east coast spot for sure. But liberty will always be my home hill (cause it's not a mountain)

The longest run at Liberty takes seconds to ski down, and there is never "powder" there. That being said, if you just want a quick trip from the Wash DC area it is only 1 hour until you're making tracks

Liberty is good if you enjoy recreational snowboarding and skiing. I love it : ) there is always beautiful conditions and the staff is so nice!
