I went to Bear Creek on a Wednesday in January and had the best Pennsylvania skiing experience ever. Conditions were great(packed powder) and the atmosphere was really modern and comfortable.

Absolutely horrible conditions today 2/10/08. Aside from that, Bear Creek is not a mountain I would return to. I prefer a mountain with some more atmosphere. Bear Creek's 2 bars are pretty lame. The Grille is nothing more than an expensive hotel bar. The other one, Trail's End is at the far end and pretty useless. Runs are short and kids everywhere.
