We went up Sunday the 16th. Clear sunny day lot's of fun to start up again. Skiing only on Palmer up top. Look out for rocks..not very crowded. Ski fast, a safe and a fun year to all. See you on the hill..
Nov 13th - LINZ PORTLAND
The Timberline trail map posted here is old and does not represent the full amount of area available to ski. In the 07/08 season, Timberline opened the "Jeff Flood" express lift (4 seats at high speed) which ascends from about 5000 ft to 8000 ft in 6 minutes. With this new lift they opened multple trails and over 200 acres of new paths not shown on this map.

This is my first year ever skiing in my life. Even though it's been a life long dream of mine, I never got around until this season. WOW!!! I love skiing!!! It's added a whole new dimension in my life...Even though it's my first year skiing, I tried Palmer for the first time today and absolutely LOVED IT!!! I felt like I was born to ski. It's natural high for me. LOVE IT!!!

Skied Timberline for the first time on Sunday. Virtually no lift lines, friendly and laid back lift operators and some pretty solid tree skiing. Great spot to escape the crowds at the nearby bigger resorts.
