Snowboarded today and the weather was clear and sunny. No waits so I was able to ski non-stop the whole day. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Estimated opening day Dec 19.
Small mountain but great powder
Spout springs is a small two lift ski resort 50 minutes from Pendleton OR, and also 50 minutes from Walla Walla Wa! Though Spout lacks size and long runs, the skiable terrain is challenging and quite fun! They also are the only ski are in the near region to offer night skiing! Spout always has abundant snow as they sit in the banana belt of the northern Blue's recieving 350 inches of snow annually
Nothing too hard-core. There are some blue runs that stay untracked all day, and then there are a few groomers. It beats hiking, but lacks good terrain.
Good snow - great place for families - friendly family run operation - no lines - no crowds - got rentals. So what if it's a small area. I can get more skiing there cause I'm not waiting in line all the time. A great area for your first day on the board(s)!
how is the sleding anyone know? does any one know when it is going to open?
is the snow packed or powder or what? good sleding?
