Cooper Spur IS the place!!
I personally think it's cool. I learned to ski there and I love the blue runs and the black diamond runs.
Both of my boys ski competatively at this poit, but they spent their early years (ages 4 - 9) at Cooper Spur. This was the perfect place to begin our family skiing life. . . A life we live every weekend now, just on more challenging terrain. I recommend Cooper to any young family or even adults learning for the first time.
It's a good and easy place to learn
