If you don't like the place, suck it up and drive another 50 miles to another hill. If you want to enjoy the best snow management in NYS, and know that you will never ski over rocks and dirt, go to Woods. Warm and sticky right now but good skiing and a good base.
yo stop dissin WV its the closest mountain for miles fir people who live on herkimer or any other mt. like its a good mt and ppl who dis it r most likely to b snowboarders
Awesome hill for amateurs. If you suck and like a family hill w/o any challenging terrain and love manmade go to WV. You will fit right in.
woods has great conditions - packed powder and some powder conditions. i will go again this season with the family. but i dont understand why snowboarders at woods feel the need to sit in front of, next to and under jumps. i almost ran over two of them today.

its not very big but for beginners its really a great place but for expert skiiers/snowboarders its to limited tp their skills
hey, woods is a nice hill. yes it is a beginner to intermediate with limited advanced, but the place is well maintained. thanks for sharing your snob, subjective observation, must be a snowboarder
woods sucks if your looking for anything more than a blue trail and there park is tiny and crap
went night skiing ....broadway doesnt have enough lights
been going there since i was little....learned to ski there...great place
went wensday and all the trails were open and it was awsome
ive been going here for years and i love it
