3/6/10-awesome weather, snow consistency as baby powder on top, close to slush towards bottom
the top was rlly good and the snow was powdery. no ice at all!
i skied on march 5. fabulous day some loose powder over hard pack. the top half of the mountain stayed below freezing in spite of full sun. hasn't snowed for at least several days but good coverage.
great skiing Thurs. packed powder- very edgable
top of mountain was powder but as you rode close to the bottom it was slush...overall conditions were great yesterday
whats the hill like now?? last post was 4 days ago. im lookin at coming there next week but am a little worried about the upcoming warm weather. dont wanna drive 5 1/2 hours to ride slush. thanks
Amazing conditions this morning: full sun and lots of somewhat fresh groomed powder. But became completely horrible by this afternoon: the powder became wet, mushy slush mixed with ice granulars.
