Wow, what a blessing this past weekend (3/28-30) - powder day friday, bluebird on saturday, spring conditions on sunday. 95% open in april! i hope everybody got their turns in because it continues to be an awesome snow year.

How could anybody possibly say Gore terrain is better than Whiteface? If you snowboard, DO NOT EVER go to Gore, it is the flattest. You WILL have to boot out multiple times on every run...Gore is for skiers who like to cruise and don't require too much of a challenge. Whiteface has had an amazing year this year and i pray it's not getting too hot and rainy quite yet to end the season early.

i went the 25th.... the top of the mtn was a lot better than the bottom... to many people on the bottom, i would deff. say that it would be worth the time to drive to gore and ski there... better terrain and nicer people.

whiteface is getting a nor easter 12" to 24" of fresh powder, most vert in the east lots of powder shots

Jan 2-4 first time at Whiteface. Good snow from top to bottom, lines were short, friendly staff, can't wait to go back!!!!!

Friday 1/25 and Saturday 1/26 was good. some ice, but making snow all day both days. face lift line was short compared to gondola. upper lifts were without any wait at all. ladies bridge still closed, but most everything else is open.

Was there MLK weekend. a little snow made both days out good although it got pretty icey late in the day sunday. The view from the summit was spectaculatar.

warm weather took the snow right off the mountain, what snow that is there is mashed potatoes, many brown spots and sticky

the slides did open late in the season last season ..it was last week of turns on the mountain ... and i was in them.. always "try to make" the traverse to slides 3 and 4. those are what waist high pow is like at whiteface... just got back from opening week and i can only say everyday the snow got better.....
