Visited on 25 Feb. Nicely groomed packed powder. Unfortunately the terrain park was closed. Not sure why the park was closed because the conditions looked good. Packed powder was pushed off of some of the steeper trails by the afternoon leaving ice patches. Be sure to have your edges sharpened. Not many options open on Hunter West; either long mogul run or an expert trail.

When I was there they were starting to make snow on some trails and the backside (hunter west). They must have been blowing snow, they hadnt had snow in like 15 days.

Ron from Jerz - Did you notice if Hunter had made snow over the week?

whiteface is at least another 3 hours north but yes it is much better. Much longer trails much more snow. Sometimes it can get a bit icey on a cold day but it realy ranks more with mountains in vermont like stowe or sugar bush or even killington
