went on the 18th and the conditions were great. it was 60 degrees the snow was good there were no lines. it was in the top 10 of my ski days. spring boardin at its best. even made time for a beer at the bottom in the sun.
went yesterday (3/12/10). beautiful day. slightly slushy and fog at mountain top... but overall great day.. well worth $25
Skied all day Yesterday (3/10/10). SUnshine, still loose granular and powder, no lines at all. Perfect.
skied sunday..really long lift lines but great conditions!
was there friday... best day riding on east coast by far. been riding over ten years. we waited knowing that last weekend was going to be crowded. snow was still amazing. no lines, great snow, perfect weather... bonus was the lift tix, only $25. (every friday until end of the season)
wednesday was a really great ski day, all runs were skiable
awesome skiing on monday. can't wait for this weekend!!
Monday had perfect packed-powder conditions. One for the ages!
Yo don't have to walk wen u park on the street u can take the shuttle:)
dont knock the snow just because you cant ski! it is absolutely awesome for the advanced skiers. 100 year storm is once in a lifetime
Skied here yesterday. Tons of snow and lots of people. I ski Belleayre often and these were some of the best conditions I have ever seen there. Stay out of the ungroomed stuff. Hard to get out! A top 10 day!
we were there yesterday well groomed great trails great people there not one people snowed on and off all day oh one complaint horrible parking other wise a great day
so much fun today. tons of snow. dot nebel is the best.
beyond crowded today. but hitting glades runs snow thigh high made it worth it.
went yesterday. definitely deep- waist deep in places, and i'm talking on the trail not in the woods where it was even deeper. the mountain doesnt have enough pitch though so you can get stuck easily. falling in that stuff not a good idea. heavy cement powder. sore as hell from it today.
went on sat. 20min backup at turn to the mountain. parking lots full at 10:30. people had to park on the road and walk 3/4 mile. interestingly, lift lines not bad. almost no wait on 7 and tomahawk. mostly skied out. if you can still find powder it is sticky and wet. you get stuck because it is so deep and heavy. in europe we call this leg breaker snow.
For a min I thought I was on the west coast. Niceee experience at bell bell.
For the first time in thirty years of Skiing East and West there was too much snow Saturday for my 63 year old legs, must have been 4 feet of powder [yes powder wasn't too heavy], Poles sunk right in People losing skis . utes Don't miss this one.
so much snow. still coming down. ski report not updating.
Haha So MUCH SNOW. The only problem is there is too much and it IS NOT powder. Its wet sticky heavy snow. If you arent going fast you're going to get stuck in the middle of a 3 feet snow run, unable to move, then take off your skis and walk all the way down the run unable to put your skis back on (just like me). All in all, dont expect light fluffy powder :)
