Spring conditions-mornings icy, slush in afternoon. Watching the snowboarders actually quite entertaining-faceplants all around!

Toas opens to boarder's today finally, Got to board one of the best mountains in the southwest and I can say it was good. The mountain is amazing and there are alot of steep runs and many mid lifts to choose from. Now about the day; Very hard packed conditions with some fluff here and there, but it was mostly crusty even in the trees. Great day over all with Lots of carving!

to Bill.... the dotted lines on the trail map equal double black diamond terrain, and the solid black lines are the single diamonds..... should clear things up for you.

The mountain stats on this site are way off - 24% Green, 25% Blue, and 51% Black. Are you kidding me? This way understates Taos's terrain. Where's the double blacks like the CO areas have on their mountain stats? Its more like: 17% Green, 18% Blue, 27% Black, and 38% Double Black.
