I was timing some lifts last weekend in Santa Fe. The only lift that took longer than it should was the Super Chief. That did literally take almost 20 minutes because of stoppages. The other lifts were right on track at 450 ft/min. If you really need a high speed so you can get that many more runs, maybe you should ski something more challenging.

The base data is not updated in this web site.. The base in Santa Fe is 114". Snow is good, but lifts are really in horrible conditions and very slow. It'll take you 19-21 minutes to take a 1500" vertical while the same distance would take 5-7 minutes on any modern resort in Colorado. Lifts also stop frequently en route to top, and that makes the trip even longer.

. Great snow with powder days. while lifts are not high speed the lines were small ;got many runs and looked forward to resting on the 10 minute lift time. Should groom at least one or two black trails from the peak such as parachute ,wizard ,fallline . Only two groomed blue runs from the top. This causes boarders and int. ski who are adverse to moguls to crowd the groomed. need expert cruisers

The skiing is great at Santa Fe. The lift lines are short, but as previously stated, some lift times are long due to newbies falling off and on. Otherwise now is the time to tear up Santa Fe's new snow.

Went to Santa Fe on Sunday and it was great...had fresh powder and more fell during the afternoon. Lines were short and the lifts got me to the top for more than enough runs. The return drive was very icy and saw 4-5 cars stuck in a snow bank.
