Ski apache might honestly be the worst place in the u.s to place a ski resort. Its out of the way of what snow that hits the rockies and the weather that comes down from alaska along the coast and hits california and arizona will dump but will miss ski apache. For example Mount Lemmon in Arizona is even more south than this but on a huge storm system will get 20 inches while ski apache gets 2 or 3

Ski apache usually open thankhsgiving day, it only opens 5-8 runs and it's usually all man made, the best skiing is the apache bowl which hasn't opened in years
