We were there for Mardi Gras!! Had a great time but the skiing was not very good by Wed Feb 25th. Very slick due to the warm weather. You can't control Mother Nature!! Debbie

Front lift closed for today. There is a shuttle to the back from the base. Some brown spots but not too bad.

just left angel fire yesterday. too warm and no new snow makes for icy skiing and more trails closing every day. we had fun just because my kids were learning to ski. if you are looking for good conditions, look elsewhere.

I skied Taos on the 27th and Angel Fire on the 28th. I actually had more fun at Angel Fire. Yes it was icy in spots and some bare spots, but there were some good trails too. There were lots of skiers having a good time.

The slopes are not nearly as bad as everyone says. Yes it does have quite if ice but it's New Mexico not Colorado.

I agree with the earlier post about no snow. I think it is the worst that I've seem in my 5-6 visits over the past few years. Cruising along and suddenly dirt, grass, mud. WTF? Bad conditions. Was quite windy today. Should be less tomorrow and maybe the cooler temps will help with the slush. "...best dirt skiing..." that was funny.
