March 4th - Walt M
We skied Angel Fire on March 1st and March 3rd. It was a little icy down low on many of the runs on the 1st. The resort got a good layer of powder on the 2nd/3rd, however, and the icy spots got covered. The front side slopes (I-25, Free Flight and a few others) had a good layer of powder that made for AWESOME skiing. Ski during a week day and you'll have the mountain to yourself.

Publish your personal ski report of Angel Fire We were at Angel Fire in early February. The three mile run from the top was well groomed in the mornings and stayed good all day. We were pleasantly surprised and want to return.

I was there too on Sat the 2nd and it was really just fine.
All the trails I skied (mostly green and some blue) were not rocky or grassy at all. They were fully snow covered and the snow was hard packed (no ice) and about 30% had 2" of powder on them.
I saw one trail in the distance when on the back lift that looked icy and uncovered but I think it was a black diamond, and it looked closed anyway
