Great day yesterday, conditions were good, plus no crowds.
Went last night for their 6-8 pm ski for $15 deal. conditions were better than I expected, just really cold. Could use another big storm to open up the rest of the trails.
is there a back side to whaleback because when driving by on the highway all you can see is 3 trails and 1lift wheres the rest?
Stopped at Whaleback on the way up to Vermont to ski Burke and
Stowe. Great snow conditions especially on the snow making trails. Skiied for three hours and had a blast. One double chair to
the top and great groomed runs to enjoy. For $20 it was well worth the stop and a great warm-up for the weekend. Nice lodge and bar upstairs. A really cool local ski area which deserves support.
Really nice terrain, when the fresh snow falls the trails will be a lot of fun. Saw 100+ kids at the terrain competition-having a great time.
Good to see this place back on the map. Support the Whale.
