Awsome. Very commercial and no night life. The dude who is ripping on red lodge must have had a bad experience or doesnt know how to find powder spots. I mean real skiing doesn,t involve snow machine's. Like hitting up the shoots at big sky or headwaters at red lodge. Great family vacation spot. Big sky has huge runs and nice snow but it is pricy and i hate waiting for those lines at the bottom lifts at the start of the day. But otherwise it is great.

Unfortunately some dudes, think, since a snow machine is working that skiing is here. Well, you can jack up your car, spin the wheels, making any progress anywhere?

Powder Dude does not speak the truth about Red Lodge. Red Lodge is trying to spray snow from snow making but it melts right as it hits the ground. Rock boarding will take place in mid winter(February).

Red Lodge is doing very and pretty good right now!!! Spraying up more powder every day!!! A little bit of ice, but still doing pretty good!!! We will be opening up in 11 days!!! Get ready to ski some powder!!

It is a great ski area for extreme people all the way down to the beginers. The tram to lone peak is the best you should ski it!
