We had our first ski trip to Big Sky from March 9-16. We skied 6 days and every day just got better. The weather was awesome and the snow was fantastic for this time of year. I can't wait to go back to Big Sky again!!!

We skied there 1/12-1/19 and the place is great! NO lift lines, the best powder I'v ever skied in! Lone peak IS rocky (OUCH) and I fear it stays that way because of the wind.nice long trails.Never saw Dakota chair open, think it is a myth as conditions were primo for it to open. Was VERY cold, but we dressed for it and it was fine. Moonlight was full of boring blues, but the xxblacks are crazy!didn't

Skied the first four days of February at Big Sky, and it was tremendous. First day was the best, but even after small amounts of snow the rest of the time, there was still great tree skiing and wind-puff all over the mountain. Plus, the place was empty--no lift lines at all. The top of Lone Peak has been scoured by wind, so watch for rocks there. Otherwise, awesome.
