I was there on April 2-4 ,skied on April 2 only two lifts on the two smaller mts open, the remaining snow is all slush and there is alot of water at the bottom. I didn't ski as planned on April 3 (even with lift tic @ 50% off) I feel the season is over for this resort. I don't recommend , lots of rocks , you will ruin your skiis. I have skiied here 3 diffent years on this weekend, this is just a bad (early spring) Normally its a great place (can't beat nature)
turain park was pretty good
moose mt is rough all time in the day its sloopy and And there are lots of branches sticking up
i was there all weekend and conditions are poor. the warm weather continues to take its toll. if you get on the snow at 9am you can get about 3-4 good hrs in, after 1pm it starts to get sloppy. eagle mt. is your best bet in the afternoon.
Check lutsens facebook page for up to date pictures and conditions.
Anyone know the current conditions? Are they going to have snow through the end of next week?
We were just up there 3/12-3/14.....rained Saturday a.m. but the conditions weren't too bad. Little slushy/icy, definitely harder to ski but still fun. The Terrain Park and backcountry runs are closed due to no snow. I would avoid Mystery Mtn, there are several spots of water/slush, only 1 run was good enough to ski on Mystery. Moose and Eagle are in pretty good shape. Bring extra socks - your feet will get wet going through some of the mini streams that have formed near the lifts. The temp was 62 on our way home Sunday, not sure how much more that affected the conditions.
