Nubs Nob First Hand Ski Reports

were there today. all slopes were fine. the base is strong. it got warm in the afternoon and a bit slushy. had a great time 3/13.
the only place where the lift ops are just as excited, if not more, that you are out - smiles are contagious!! space to enjoy the snow, and phenomenal snow it has been:)
nubs nob lift crew is the best ever!!!
Yeah, the time for man-made snow only has arrived. Pretty much hard and somewhat tough to really dig in with. It is well-made/groomed though. To sum it up, $28 for night skiing is worth it; anything more than that? Well, how much is it worth to you?
nubs nob is so fun and great! all the runs have thier own little features and personalities to them
Looking up the park
Superpipe :)
post something once on a while
Was out today. Amazing blue bird day. They take good care of the snow here. All the runs were nice. Wish they had more freestyle terrain around. Locals say the snow will last until the end of the month. No crowds until after 3:30.
im going to nubs this weekend
the best thing about nubs is the great view of the highlands across the street
Nubs Nob is by far the best resort in lower michigan! Grooming is taken serious with the passion for the perfect run! If you haven't been there - what are you waiting for?
never been to nubs nob. always wanted to go. my friends say it is way better than boyne. and how expensive is the food there.
best place in michigan, hands down
I agree! been going to Nubs since 1989, always good times and hi-fives! best snowmaking, grooming, &staff! Everybody posting negativity needs to listen to some reggae and chill out! this is as good as Michigan gets!
nubs is the only place with pure michigan love for snow! i have been coming to nubs sence 1978 -still, awsome!
ive been going to nubs and highlands every year for the past 14 years and i would take nubs over highlands any day nubs has a much nicer park and has a great family atmosphere even though they dont have a high speed chair highlands only has one and the time u spend in the line for it it takes the same time as a regular chair to get to the top. overall nubs deffinately is the best place to snowboard or ski in michigan
i have to say nubs is pretty friendly, not that boyne isn't. For example: Boyne charges for a ride in the groomers while Nubs does it for free.
hmm, smaller (both in vertical and acres) no high speed lifts, older grooming equipment, lift ops don't hold a candle to the friendliness of the highlands crew and they have inferior snowmaking to boyne's new low e fan gun....so what makes them the best? must be a lacky of nubs mgt posting the below.
best place in Michigan, much better than boyne in my opinion
