saddleback is light years from sunday river!! That is unless u love tons of people all over the trails crashing in to you. if u like sunday river u wont be impressed with saddleback. if u dont like sunday river u will love saddleback. Much of Saddleback is on wind hold today last i heard.
All lifts closed for now due to high winds.
wicked windy today! but still a great day!!!
haha, this place has no trail crowding anyways. Awesome
This ski resort is awful and has terrible snow. Don't ever go there. Please, please don't go there. I need this place to myself.
about an hour or so. Totally worth the trip. Whole new world, twice the snow
how far is this from sunday river?
its indescribable how great the trees were yesterday. epic. but i should say they were terrible so no one shreds my stash! skip work/school, go ski saddleback
amazing day at Saddleback!!! Snow was great!
Went up today and had a great time the weather was warm and the snow was awesome! Green Weaver and Tricolor were a little choppy but Silver Doctor, Red and Blue Devil were in great shape and so was Gray Ghost.
Yesterday was the best skiing of my life. Waist deep in powder at the top and plenty to go around all over the mountain and glades. Thank you Saddleback!
if you arent here right now, you better be at a funeral.
because of the 70 mph eastern-cross wind gusts? Give me a break dude. Upper mountain will be GREAT this weekend..... Stick to the skinny trails. Golden smelt, parmanchee belle, professor, Jaine craig... Black beauty and frostbite I you want waist high powder. Glades will be epic
half of the mountain is still on wind hold at noon. so bogus.
great. Vacation week, I assure you, a quad is coming for the rangeley, which will solve the only problem saddleback has. This mountain I'd cut geneously, trails are perfect, fit the mountain perfectly
always good conditions. not much for terrain park tho, and always very foggy amd windy. b sure to bring goggles
The Rangeley Double takes about 10-12 minutes to get up with no line. If it's vacation or the weekend the line xcan get pretty crazy so your best bet would betake the terrain park double and the T-bar up to the quad if that's where you like to ski. If it's during the week though, you can do laps off therangeley all you want to. You can always do laps off the 2 quads
Im going in a couple weeks and was wondering how long it yakes to get up the double
