I agree with Ivan Warboys; "anonymous" must be drunk! Have just returned from a great week ski-ing in mixed conditions bathed in April -like sunshine. Very few of the runs were closed, apart from the link to Briancon (which is often "iffy", being south-facing) BUT the snow cannot last long in these crazy conditions.
Your report is out of date! Snow last fell here on 8 January. I have been here since 23 December and have been able to ski every day compared with many more popular resorts in the Alpes. We have had over 120cm on the mountain and even at 1800 metres 90 cms of snow. Yes there are some hard patches but overal above 1800m the skiing remains very good and the sun has made for very enjoyable days.
It is rubbish. We are sunbathing on our balcony. Bring you shorts and windbeater. Its ok though, the beer festival starts at 5pm in the frog.
