Les Arcs is OPEN with lot's of SNOW. Status incorrect!!!
Last two days were a lot of fun and they are reporting 10+ cm new and it is still snowing down at 800 meters!!!
Ever 30cm of snow everwhere, sounds a really good year !!!
Despite the dump of snow on the 23rd Jan the lower slopes below about 1900m were starting to get a bit icy again in places when I left the resort on the 27th Jan. Valandry and 1600 even more so. Generally good conditions above 1800 though and excellent above 1950.
Jan 1 - Snowing, good viz.
Good at altitude, shocking at 1600. Local forecast was for no snow till 29 Dec - its going to get green by then....
