No snow, all hard pack alas.
Just skied Alpe D'Huez (Feb 1 to 7 2010) Pro: great place to ski,120 trails with most of the resort above the tree line. We had 5 days of instructions,( the intructors are part of the Club Med hotel package). Con: must love Poma lifts, about 25 of 85 lifts are pomas.
Alpe D'huez is open, we had over 50cm fresh the last 3 days!
20 inches on the 21st March and more forecast this coming week down below resort level
Quality resort - great conditions at the start of Feb (2nd to 9th). Probably needs a bit more to top it back up now. 21.02.08

good snow 23rd jan most runs now open alpe dhuez is a cracking resort
it is amazing great for beginers.
