WOW!!! you get ALOT of snow up there. down in new england we barly have enought to ski. all of the snow is by the snowblowers not natural. which means some preety weird terrain. i bet yours is great

I have been skiing at Terry and Deer both for many years and Terry sucks unless all the punk middle schoolers are in school for the day. Deer does have much better powder, especially this year. Plus the people who go there can spell.

i have to give props to you guys that live there in sodak. I was just there, and the wind chill was -35 in Rapid when my plane took off this morning. it was painful. you gotta have balls to live there.
I skied at both over the weekend and enjoyed Deer Mountain. Better snow, better powder and better people. No punks dropping the F-Bomb in front of little kids and families like I observed at Terry.
terry is way funnier then deer cause you dont have that slow lift...and your gonna get people thst think there hot sh// no matter where you go. deer has them to. terry has powder in certaim areas but its not big areas. but itd eorth the money for this area

It's ok for the area, and with the option of Terry peak and mystic miner, you are stuck with these two places. Terry peak has better runs, not much better but better. Personally I don't think it's worth the money but I don't have a choice, unless I want to drive 6-10 hours to go boarding. Mystic miner is a lot friendlier place to go, Terry peak has a lot of punks that think they are hot sh!^.
Mystic Miner (Deer Mountain) is open also. Not as much mountain but a better family place without the punks who think they are a big fish in a little pond like you get at Terry. Actually if you like powder, it is better at Deer Mountain
why would you go from California to the Midwest to ski? Conditions in California are better with more terrain and better vertical!
They got 36 inches of new snow is what there saying... Nobody can get up there
