Being a native of Colorado, and a resident of the great state of Texas for many years. I just want say I love Texans, and Whataburger, Willie. The River walk, Padre Island. Its a grand state with nice folks and alot to see an do. Most Texans come here spend time and go home. Its the Californication of Colorado I cant stomach! The tree huggin subaru driving granola munchers go home!

About the Texans: Natives like to whine about them (like Canadians do about the US) -- it doesn't really mean anything -- but in a lifetime of skiing Colorado, I have never met an impolite Texan: something I sure can't say about Coloradans!
March 31st - Canadian Convert
Fri. was sunny with conditions just starting to soften up. Snow pack is definitly compacting but still no real melt. Sat. basically same conditions. Sun. the wind pickup up and blew consistently with snow flurries. Top layer of snow ranged from hard pack to just a hint of corn snow.Very skiable.Still doesn't feel like spring yet! Great conditions. Going to try for 1 more trip at the end of April!

Wolf Creek is a great ski area, and the people are nice, even to Texans. We have enjoyed it everytime we have been. Great snow and people with the exception of Feb 29th anonymous, you are just an irresitable idiot. Once again you proved my point, practice your grammar and spelling and try again. Maybe have your wife point out your errors, but dont let her get carried away.

To: Texan and Proud; I went to wolf creek in Dec. and we had a mini-van with Texas plates. There ARE a few people that don't care for texans, but it's because A texan just bought a large parcel of land adjacent to the ski resort and is talking about developing it into condos, etc. they've worked har to keep it non-coporate. They are still very friendly, don't worry.
