horrible place go to brighton
crushin the pow with dave...teamwork makes the dreamwork.
right-13 miles for birds-50 miles for cars over Red Mtn Pass
This site reports Telluride is 13 miles out of Silverton. That can't be right. You have to go around thru Durango or Ridgeway right? Little help?
Been there once. I'm too old to go there every week, but it is a must on the "to do" list for moderate to better skiers/boarders. Talk about old school, this is it. No, you won't be pampered, that's not what this place is about. Just try it once and you will never forget it.
Skied there yesterday and it was the best day of the year. paying for all day heli rides is by far the best money you will every spend. Aaron is absolutely first class and so are the guides. I was fortunate enough to ski with Aaron all day and what an absolute great experience. Can't understand those who complain about the mountain. It is sick
This is big time skiing. POW , cliffs , trees , steep , and generally a great place. Not for everyone but great none the less. tk
this place is sick. best day of the year.
Epic doesn't quite cover the conditions today. Face shots and waist deep powder all day. best conditions i've ever experienced!
One lift to the top and then hike across a ridge, pretty big acreage here. The mountain is expert backcountry style.
soooo unfair we have no snow in ct and how do u access 69trails from one lift?
yes there is heli. one chair and then hike from there
Thinking of coming here. have been but omly unguided. do you really only get 8-10k of vert a day bc that is pathetic.
Do you have to hike up the mount?
R helicopters flying at Silverton yet?
2/14/2010 a sweet day at Silverton!
Crazy bluebird day. Taday was pretty much perfect!
Another beautiful day in paradise!
Whats with all the guide bashing? I thought they where curteous and proffesional.
