Sunday was a gorgeous day! a little slushy in most areas but hardly a cloud in the sky, no lift lines, no spring break crowd, open tables in the lodge...wife and I skied cheaper than one of us could at Breck...GREAT DAY

this is one of the best ski areas in colorado.
unfortunatly they dont have high-speed lifts cause they dont make the money that vail and copper and breck.........make cuase there in the middle of nowhere. almost every time i go there is amazing snow at monarch. mirkwood is the best part of monarch.

Scattered icy and bare spots... Also a bit slushy yesterday but not crowded at all and still lots of fun.

great weather today, zero wind bottom and top, mixed clouds mostly sunny, ice in the morning gave way to 10:30am slush, good slush though, wavy, not too heavy or silly, all lifts o en, all trails but 1 open, April conditions, exposed rocks and little room for error, absolutely not crowded - where was everyone? still a great place and great day, pray for snow
