So crowded today but it was a lot of fun.slushy, too!
simple words cannot describe the heaven we ski in at monarch. tons of skiers, but no lift lines, no crowded slopes. there arent even folks on the sidewinder. Where are the skiers and boarders. At merkwood, and back country snow cats, of course. If you havn't tried it, do it this last weekend. the pow pow is way deep; fluffy like year grandmother's feather bed.
the rewards are impossible to calculate.
bye bye summit county, move over beaver and aspen. Monarch, its the place, its the spell

awesome pow today! literally didnt wait longer than 2 minutes in any line. nice weather. overall Monarch is awesome for the price!
