Just got back from a weekend up there. The snow is crispy and harsh in the morning. It loosens up nicely around 11 in the sun and stays nice at elevation. It gets pretty slushy near the base, but it's still much better than early morning conditions. My suggestion? Do half days. The hard ice in the morning is no fun and not really worth waking up for. Sleep in, then go out and enjoy the afternoon.

almost nobody has heard of it and still its the best skiing in the north america! it is very family welcoming which i like! and if you want bumps you can ride e`m for days! the new lift at the front has an awsome terrain park and some sweet blacks blues. so have fun when you go!I LOVE DURANG CAUSE YOUR MONEY WILL GO FARTHER AND YOU GET BETTER RUNS!
