First time visitor to Durango. Just got back. Blue and Black runs are great, but most of the Greens are flat and difficult for boarders. Skiers have to pole a lot. "Walk a Lot" is just that. "Nirvana" and "Where" are fun hidden jems. We never saw anyone else on the runs. Purgy's Bar is great for a beer after skiing and the food is pretty good. Too bad they are teraing it down in April.

Just got back, skied for 3 days on some of the best powder I have seen. I would highly recomend this mountain and their bloodymary's. Be sure to stop for breakfast at the little cafe' on the left about a mile or two before the resort. I can't wait till my next trip to Durango Mountain. 13 hour drive from Austin, TX

Just got home from an incredible day at Purgatory. I want to go back. That place totally rocks! We went to the backside all day and the snow was killer. There were hardly any lift lines at all. This is the place I will return to year after year. This was the first time we stayed at the resort, and the place is top notch service.

We have been up a few times this year & skiing has been great. Going again this weekend, just wish they could get a better food. ASIAN?? whats with that, how about a hot baked potato or soup. I agree, the prices are very overpriced, can eat for less at any other mountain resort. Come on Durango lets do something about that please!!
