March 9th.....Wonderful place for families. There were no lines and the workers at the chairs were extremely nice! We had a great day, trails were groomed and fresh!

This is a wonderful ski area for families and people learning to snowboard and telemark ski. Leadville is a laidback fun mountain town filled with people who live and play in this beautiful valley year round.
The snow quality(for days after a storm) and the complete absence of corporate, industrial recreation B.S. is so refreshing I have to go back NOW!

I've been to Angel Fire, Red River, Crested Butte, Copper Mtn and Ski Cooper is the best. You can go down a trail and not see anybody, and if you do then it is crowded.

Having skied them all, this is the place to take your family, especially if you have young skiers. No lines, no crowds and very affordable. little traffic and not much commercial pressure! It's our favorite place!
