robalicious - Peak 9 has a lot of wide open green runs that are perfect for beginner boarders. My wife and daughters spent most of last season there. The only tricky part is near the base of Peak 9. It goes from flat to very steap right near the end. I would sugest walking down the last part.

I went to breck on saturday ( the 15 of NOv.) It sucked, wait for more snow! I promise you! If you like long lines and the possibility of only 3 " alright" runs then have a blast! otherwise, the conditions are still terrible. Don't wast an hour and a half drive just to stand in lines!

Dont bother going to Breck they want ten dollars to park after we spend 500 dollars on a pass and the lift lines there are forty to forty five minutes

My bro works on the mtn in Breck and he says the resort would def like to have as much open as possible by Thanksgiving but that all depends on the snowfall and there's no way to really know what that's gonna look like btwn now and then. There is a huge ski/snowboard competition in the middle of December and they are definitely hoping to have as much open as possible by then...

Last year, Peak 7 did not open until early December. Chances are that the same thing will happen this year. I am not sure about peak 9 or 10.
