it was the best place i have ever been to i hope to go agian. the slopes are amazing they have the best teachers. it is not just that crap hard pack snow it is powder. so if you want a good place to ski go to beaver creek.

It's true the Canadians are a peacfull people. They shred so hard in some of the most extreme conditions. They don't have wars and skiers and snowboarders get along. It just sucks they had to lower themselves to riding Colorado Pow and clubbing baby seals.

I think Canadians are just more considerate in general, both on and off the slopes than us Americans. I was at Beaver Creek this week, standing in the middle of a blue run, & my husband screamed at this snowboarder who was only looking uphill and not where he was going. It was a near collision & if we hadn't screamed at the top of our lungs "Watch out" he would have plowed over me. Great snow tho!

it's funny how this skier VS snowboarder issue only exists in the States. Come up to Canada and everone gets along fine, maybe it's cause we Canadians can actually rip and don't worry about skiers OR snowboarders scraping the snow off the mountain. Just get along and make peace guys, then you wouldn't be at war on the hill or off the hill for that matter.

Sking was great. Had 16 inches fall. Beaver Creek is beautiful. Wish I lived there. Very few lift lines. Would go back in heart beat!! From Texas and I love the snow and sking!
