Earlier this week there was a great snowfall, haven't been there but everyone is raving about the great conditions of all mountains in the area.
any update on snow quality / outlook? i will be there in 3 weeks!
Skied here last july 14-28 2008 as well as La parva and El Colorado this is the only area I found of the three with accurate snow pack information. basically a beginer resort unless your willing to hike but it's a good laugh watching the Brazilins trying to ski in fur jackets

Today there is a huge storm outside. The road to Valle and lifts are closed so far, but the good news is that tomorrow will be a classic day with the sun shining.

I was there for the massive dump of snow. We had bluebird skies and untracked everywhere. Conditions are exceptional.
Great Season so far! Last couple of weeks were pretty warm and no precipitation, but today it rained all day in Santiago, which means tomorrow is POWDER DAY!!! I'm headin up early to catch some turns which won't be skied out until Wednesday since the crowds here don't ski off piste much!
