come on you have to be kidding,this is the only ski are in NC saying that.most say variable or wet granular so at wplfa lower elevation there is NO WAY the conditions are packed powder!
not too bad today, but watch out for ice patches and exposed terrain on some higher runs. all in all, fun.
Excellent conditions Friday evening after they groomed the slopes. Wish I could have stayed for Saturday as well.
conditions were the best I have seen all season. Great powder, finally. And of course, as always, there was no lift line. Snowing heavily and cold. Cannot wait to make it back.

Bluebird day at the Wolf yesterday. Light, fluffy snow! Great conditions.
I went last weekend and was very pleasantly surprised. I had low expectations, and went there because it was more convienant than Sugar or Beach. But it was really nice. They had good snow, and it wasn't icy. I took my young kids and they had an easy conveyer belt for them to get up the bunny slope. Two thumbs up!

night conditions were great last night. It was not busy at all.
way to crowded today! you can not even drive up to park now you have to take a shuttle. It is also super icy and packed.

I was visiting my friend in NC and we decided to go snowboarding/skiing. We thought Wolf was perfect but then we went there... very disappointed. Hard packed, narrow and small trails. Also icey (last weekend). Reminded me of a a backyard with a ski lift. Went to Cataloochie the next day and had a great time. I would say at least 4 times better. Wolf's lift was also slow and uncomfortable. (I'm being nice with the review) Oh... and I wouldn't think of coming back!
